ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW COMMITTEE

ARCs are all about property values. The WLCA ARC works with neighborhood ARCs to ensure that existing structures and planned improvements meet community standards to maintain property values. This committee meets here at the office every week at 6:30 PM (subject to change) for about an hour to review the week’s applications for modifications.

The Architectural Review Committee, or ARC, has jurisdiction to ensure that “No building, sign, outside lighting, fence, hedge, living fence, wall, walk, dock or other structure or planting shall be constructed, erected, or planted until the plans and specifications showing the nature, kind, shape, height, materials, floor plans, color scheme and location of same shall have been submitted to and approved in writing by the ARC.” (WLCA Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions, Article VIII, Section 2-C)
