The Happy Trails Arts and Crafts Room offers a variety of ways to show your creative side. It’s a great way to meet new people and make lasting friends. Stop by the Arts and Crafts Room to see some of the projects that are being made by the various groups.

SERVICE PROJECTS: We send baby afghans, preemie hats and slippers to several charities, contribute to our local Veterans, provide scrapbooking supplies for foster children and other organizations.

HT Stained Glass Club

Club Information 

Sign up for our orientation "Introduction to Glass Arts" class. 

This beginner's class will introduce you to the four most common techniques used to manipulate glass into beautiful works of art.

1. Fused Glass Art (kiln fired)
2. Copper Foiling
3. Lead Came
4. Mosaics

You will also learn how to use the supplies, tools and equipment in the Glass Room to insure your safety and that of the equipment.  We have how-to-books tools and materials available.  We have everything you need to get you started on your first project.

When you have learned the basics, you may use any of these techniques to make your own projects.  there are additional classes you can take which expand in these basic skills for more advanced projects.  See sign up sheets in the Glass Room.

The Fusing Group meets on Tuesdays at 9:30 am.  Come by and take a look.
