Trees in Radisson
The natural beauty of the trees in our community is remarkable. They are an integral part of the look and feel of the Radisson Community so we have special guidelines regarding the removal and care of trees. We encourage you to please review our Tree Booklet to understand why trees are so important in the community and what steps must be taken before a tree may be removed. Tree Removal
Given their importance, the Architectural Standards Committee (ASC) requires homeowners to submit an application before removing a tree. If the tree is larger than 4 inches in diameter (12.5 inches in circumference), measured two feet above the ground, you must receive approval before removing the tree, even if the tree is dead.

Tree Trimming
Trimming/pruning of a tree does not require ASC approval. Please be aware that “topping” a tree is not an acceptable method of pruning a tree and you will be required to remove the tree and possibly plant a new one in its place.
Tree Planting
Homeowners are encouraged to plant trees on their property, ASC approval is not required. Please be aware of your property lines and know where underground utilities are before you begin. Call 811 before you dig, more information is available at call811.com.
Tree Care Resources
The International Society of Arboriculture publishes a series of consumer education brochures that are available for purchase. However, ISA has also made the information available via their web site.
