The Hills City Council adopted an Ordinance requiring all Short Term Rentals (STR) to be permitted in order to commence or continue operations after October 1, 2022. Additionally, Hotel Occupancy Taxes must also be collected for reservations after October 1. The registration application, checklist, and answers to frequently asked questions are available now on the City’s website, http://TheHillsTX.gov , for the benefit of current or prospective Owner/Operators.
